What to do with defective Addis?

So in November, I bought a pair of Addi Turbos from Little Knits. Between being out of town for different holidays, catching up on school, and being sick, I didn't look at the Addis until today, and oh no, I have a problem!

The tips are not smooth. At all. Around. This has never happened before, in all of my years of ordering Addis not ordering from Little Knits. Anyway, I called Little Knits this morning and it went straight to voice mail, so I left a message. I'm half afraid they're going to say "all sales are final, yadda yadda, contact Addi," but I guess I'll wait and see. Not that I get many comments, but if anyone knows what you're supposed to do when this happens, please comment.
